PSJA ISD Art Students Earn 75 Medals, Advance to State VASE Competition

McALLEN– Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD (PSJA ISD) high school art students showcased their talent at the Texas Art Education Association’s Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE) held March 7, 2026 at McAllen Nickki Rowe High School, earning 75 medals. 
 
Five students advanced to the State VASE Competition to be held in San Marcos in April.

• Sophia Rodriguez – PSJA Early College High School 

• Natalia Torres – PSJA Southwest Early College High School
